The abstract should be structured and should be limited to 250 words. (Times New Roman font)
The abstract can be submitted via internet as an attachment in word format only as an advanced copy.
However the abstract has to be submitted in CD format (as a word document) along with duly completed registration form. Only abstracts complying with both the conditions mentioned above will be considered for acceptance. Underline the name of the presenter. The presenter has to be registered as a delegate.

Guidelines for Oral Presentation:
Limited number of free papers for oral presentation will be accommodated. Papers if found suitable and relevant for the various intended scientific sessions of the conference would be presented along with the scientific session. The decision of the scientific committee would be final. Please select a THEME from below, under which you wish to make the oral paper presentation. Please write it clearly in the “Theme” of your abstract.

  4. HCW safety
  5. Current Advances in disinfection
  6. MRSA
  7. Culture Negative SSI’s
  8. Tuberculosis
  9. Critical Care
  10. Infection prevention in Specialty

Oral Presentations would be judged based on presentation skills and quality of the work and select papers suitably rewarded.
Some of the papers may be converted to the poster form of presentation due to time constraints.

Guidelines for Poster Presentation:
Papers in the form of posters would also be accepted. The posters would be displayed during the entire duration of the conference Posters may give a better chance for scientific interaction which may not be possible for all oral presentation due to paucity of time for each scientific session.
The posters should be self-explanatory with maximum information compressed in minimum words.
A space of 2 feet (h) x 4 feet (w) will be available for the posteRs
The title page should contain the title of the poster, author's name(s) and the name of the institution. The letter size of the text must not be less then 8 mm and should be legible from a distance of 2-3 meteRs.
The poster may be divided into introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Conclusion.
The graphs, histograms, scatter grams of the photographic material should be put on the quarter size bond paper. Presenter should bring all necessary accessories for the poster display. Posters would also be judged and special certificates would be issued to first three posters based on quality of the work and poster presentation.
